While being on duty for an official tour of the Philippines, three Miss Universe queens had some fun of their own on the side, playfully “fighting” over the crown.
The official Miss Universe Instagram page shared a boomerang video of former titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Iris Mittenaere playing tug-of-war for the famed Mikimoto crown in the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.
Reigning Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters played along by acting shocked upon seeing what the two women were doing, after she had just “put the crown down for one minute.” The post has so far garnered close to 389,000 views as of this writing, along with a heap of wacky comments and laughs from the beauty queens’ fans.
Meanwhile, Mittenaere posted in her personal account a formal photo of the trio with the caption “three in one.”

Nel-Peters, Mittenaere and other candidates of the pageant are currently in the Philippines to attend official functions. They will also be going to various tourist spots, as announced by the Department of Tourism. JB
