Paul’s holiday dreams with Toni and Seve
What would you give your loved ones this holiday season? What would you like to receive this year? What’s your most memorable Christmas?
Filmmaker Paul Soriano’s Christmases past, present and future now revolve around his firstborn son Seve, now a year old. Soriano’s Yuletide wish is as uncomplicated as it can get: “I plan to spend as much time with my loved ones this holiday season.”
As for material gifts he’d give to his family? “I am thinking of giving Seve a train set. For my wife Toni, it will be a surprise!”
If he could ask for only one present this year, it would be just as straightforward: “I’d like it if everyone would take time on Dec. 25 to watch my latest movie, ‘Siargao,’ which is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival.” He also wishes that moviegoers would support “the other entries,” as well.
A very personal item on his wish list is every director’s dream. “I hope and wish to tell more stories.”
