‘Unexpectedly Yours’ reaches 100 million mark
Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla hit it once more!
Their highly-anticipated reunion movie “Unexpectedly Yours” hits P100 million in gross sales as of December 4. The news was happily announced by ABS-CBN’s film production outfit, Star Cinema.
Since its release, the film has been consistently getting good reviews.
Sharon and Robin maybe way past their prime but their iconic team-up still proved its audience impact as their ever-loyal fans flocked to the cinemas for the big screen comeback of one of showbiz’ most high-profile ex-lovers.

Everything eventually unfolds as their characters find each other and experience a deep but feel-good journey to love.

He’s always been that rough but inexplicably suave man while she’s always been ever miss classy girl. However, it’s their completely opposing naturalism that made their millions of fans fall for them through the years.
Film director Cathy Garcia-Molina only had good words when she talks about the performance of Sharon and Robin in this movie.
Among their past movies were “‘Di Na Natuto” in 1993 and “Pagdating ng Panahon” in 2001. But it was the smash hit “Maging Sino Ka Man” that broke box-office records in 1991. Moreover, its massive success made it among the most iconic movies of the decade.
Among the main cast were Kapamilya love team Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. “Unexpectedly Yours” is currently showing in cinemas nationwide. /jpv
