Actress Jennylyn Mercado is happy in her relationship with fellow Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo, but marriage is not yet in the cards for them.
“Wala pa, matatagalan pa. Sa ngayon, hindi pa talaga,” she said in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal. (Not yet, it will take time. Right now, not yet.)
Career and her child are the 30-year-old’s priorities. “Marami pa akong gustong ma-accomplish… maliit pa rin yung anak ko, kailangan niya ‘ko.” (I have a lot I want to accomplish. My son is still young, he needs me.)
The couple rekindled their relationship over a year ago after breaking up in 2011.
“Sa ngayon, nag-e-enjoy lang kami,” she said of their romance. (For now, we’re enjoying.)
This 2017, the pair clearly enjoyed each other’s company as they went on vacations in the country and abroad.
She shared that her son with Patrick Garcia, Alex Jazz gets along with Trillo whom he calls “Tito.”
Trillo, 36, previously told the publication in September about his side of marriage plans with Mercado. “Well, siyempre ‘yung possibility…Sa ganda ng mga nangyayari ngayon, hindi imposible.” (Of course it’s a possibility… with how well things have been going, it’s not impossible.)
Mercado’s upcoming movie with Derek Ramsay “All of You” will screen in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival. Niña V. Guno/JB
