Award-winning Broadway superstar Lea Salonga could not help but notice the misspelling of her name on the beverage cup of an international coffee bar chain.
In a recent Instagram post, the actress-singer said: “Let the misspelling begin!!! Starbucks talaga o! (… really)”. And then finished it with a hashtag: #KahitSaanKahitKelan (Anywhere, Anytime)
Ms. Salonga uploaded a photo of her drink, which cup had her misspelled name – “Laiya” instead of “Lea.”
Expectedly, the celebrity’s post immediately gained reactions from netizens with similar sentiments.
Lea is known for her sophistication, intelligence, and sharp English proficiency that people look up to her as both an excellent performer and well-educated person. Amid her global fame, netizens could not believe how a renowned espresso shop could commit such a silly mistake.
