Talent tilt yields up-and-coming songwriters

Welcome the “new sound” of OPM, as 10 of the best songs in the Krem-Top Bagong Timpla Songwriting Competition have been chosen.

Songwriters and musicians who made it to the Top 10 include: Chester Francisco, Kimberly Borja, Mark Paderes (“#Hugot”); Gerald Naquita, Zhyra Despe (“Hugis Buwan sa Labi”); Andrew Arguelles, Joseph Charles Baltazar (“Brand New Day”); Arnelle “Elay” Christine Vaquillar (“Walang Iwanan”); Jaruel “Jau” Capistrano, Lorry Jell Mendoza (“Time Machine”); Marie Tayag (“Tuluy-tuloy”); Andrei Chua, Cheska Cordero (“Sabrina”); Megren “Meg” Dimayuga (“Miss Chubby”); Briggoson “Jigs” Curugan, Daniel Quiachon (“Pedicab”); and Robin Emadura, Mikki Emradura (“Wrong Sent”).
