All five former members of the Spice Girls may be on board for a reunion next year, with projects to include a new compilation album, according to a report.
The Sun reveals that the reunion plans follow secret talks among the former bandmates that began this summer, with Mel C having spearheaded the revival, and resulting in all five members getting on board —even Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Posh Spice, who had previously been difficult to convince.
Among projects in the works, according to The Sun‘s report, are a TV special and a compilation album. The band’s former boss Simon Fuller is reportedly working with them for the reunion, although no further details have been revealed.
The 1990s group initially performed together from 1994 to 2000, then reunited for a tour in 2007 to 2008 after releasing their “Greatest Hits” album in 2007. In 2012, they once again came together to perform at the London Olympics and to promote the Spice Girls musical “Viva Forever!”. JB
