Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda sang a solemn song during their tribute gig last Oct. 27 at the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles in honor of their late frontman Chester Bennington.
Shinoda wrote the song shortly after Bennington’s untimely death and played it solo with just a piano accompaniment.
“I sat down in my studio and I wrote something and it was about 8 days after. I want to share it with you guys tonight if that’s okay,” said Shinoda during the concert.
The “Linkin Park & Friends Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington” concert was staged to honor the memory of the band’s late lead vocalist who passed away on July 21 this year. JB
