“X-Men” fans are in for a treat on Valentine’s Day, as 20th Century Fox confirmed the standalone film featuring the enigmatic “Gambit” will be shown to cinemas on Feb. 14, 2019.

With Hollywood A-lister Channing Tatum giving life to the staff-wielding, card-throwing Remy LeBeau, the spinoff is expected to finally give the spotlight to one of the series’ most mysterious mutants.

“Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski has been tasked to helm the project, while veteran screenwriter Josh Zetumer worked on the script, Variety reported.

The “X-Men” universe is currently gearing up for big things in 2018,  with “New Mutants” set to open on April 13, “Deadpool 2” on June 1 and “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” on Nov. 2.

Meanwhile, “Gambit” is based on the comic book character created by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee in 1990.

The sweet-talking New Orleans native with the ability to manipulate kinetic energy was first portrayed on the big screen by Taylor Kitsch in 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Khristian Ibarrola /ra
