WATCH: Eleven is alive and kicking in final trailer of ‘Stranger Things’ season 2
Netflix’s sci-fi hit “Stranger Things” left a lot of cliffhangers in its inaugural season, but perhaps none more than the fate of everyone’s favorite telekinetic teen Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown).
The final trailer of the much-anticipated second season answered this looming question, showing the affable girl returning to the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.
Set a year after the events of the first season, residents of the small town were seen reeling from the aftermath of the craziness surrounding the mysterious “Upside Down” alternate dimension.
Fresh from his return from the clutches of the Demogorgon, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) has now become the subject of testing, causing pain and confusion to his loved ones, particularly his doting mother Joyce (Winona Ryder).
At the center of it all is Hawkins Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour), who looks to further unravel the mysteries behind the eerie Hawkins Laboratory.
