Marvin Agustin, Jodi Sta. Maria star in ‘Second Coming’, aim for MMFF

From the makers of “Seklusyon” and “Ang Pagsanib Kay Lea dela Cruz”, another horror flick is set to scare viewers this Halloween. Actors Marvin Agustin and Jodi Sta. Maria team up in the horror movie, “Second Coming”.

In a recent Instagram post, Agustin uploaded a photo of him with Sta. Maria and a child cast member named Angelica on the set of their movie in Antipolo City.

Agustin is hoping that the movie makes it into the roster of films for the coming Metro Manila Film Festival.

Agustin has starred in quite a number of horror flicks in the past, including “Magandang Hatinggabi” in 1998, “Spirit of the Glass” in 2004, “Kutob” in 2005 and “Wag Kang Lilingon” in 2006, among others.

Meanwhile, Sta. Maria also has her own share of horror films where she has starred, such as “Cinco” in 2010 and “Maria Leonora Teresa” in 2014.

Agustin was once part of ABS-CBN’s stable of stars, from Star Circle batch 2, whereas Sta. Maria was from batch 7.
