“Star Wars” fans were thrilled to watch the latest trailer of “The Last Jedi” on Tuesday, but perhaps no one was more delighted than Carrie Fisher’s pooch, Gary.

The late actress’ beloved French Bulldog was pictured staring intently at her “mom” through a TV screen, which has left netizens gushing.
“Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever,” the post on Gary’s verified Instagram account read, along with the hashtags #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom#garyloveshisfans #garyfisher
The photo has been liked over 46,000 times, and has received thousands of positive comments from fans.
Prior to her passing last December, Fisher and her therapy dog were inseparable. Fisher admitted that she often leaned on Gary to get through her tough times.
“Gary is like my heart. Gary is very devoted to me and that calms me down,” Fisher told the Herald-Tribune in 2013.
Gary is now being taken care of by Fisher’s personal assistant, Corby McCoin, who already has a close bond with the dog. /ra
