“Game of Thrones” fans might have to wait a year or two for the show’s eighth and final season to return on television, but perhaps they’ll settle with an anime version instead.

Last month, HBO teased an upcoming animated re-telling of the vast history of George R.R. Martin’s iconic “A Song of Fire and Ice,” but one exuberant fan took it a notch higher—by coming up with a Japanese manga-inspired animation of the hit series.

His impressive portrayal of the show’s prominent characters was quite a spectacle to watch as well.
