Maymay Entrata and Maine Mendoza via Entrata’s Instagram
Kapamilya teen stars Maymay Entrata and Kisses Delavin went on extreme fangirl mode upon seeing Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza for the first time.
In separate recent Instagram posts, both Kapamilya actresses shared how happy they were over meeting Mendoza. Entrata said, “Ikaw lang naman ang dahilan kung bakit nag ka twitter si Mama ko.” (You are the only reason my mom made a Twitter account.)
Being a daughter of an overseas Filipino worker, Entrata said her mother was among those who Mendoza greatly entertained through her phenomenal stint as Yaya Dub in the “Eat Bulaga” hit segment, Kalyeserye.
Entrata also admitted that she is a certified Mendoza fan.
“Maraming OFW ang pinasaya mo kasali na si mama dun. Kaya di ko na pinalampas ang araw na to dahil kami hindi lang naging baliw sayo kundi naging inspirasyon ka din saaming lahat. We love you po Ms. Yaya dub!” she wrote.
(You make a lot of OFW happy, including my mother. That’s why I did not let this day pass [to meet you] because we only did not go crazy for you, you have been our inspiration on everything. We love you, Ms. Yaya Dub.)
Delavin also expressed how she adored Mendoza by letting fans and followers know how very kind Mendoza is.
“So… I just met @mainedcm. Yep. I might be smiling but inside, I’m screaming! Woah grabee!!! Have nothing but beautiful words about this girl. Didn’t expect her to be so kind! I admire her before, but now I admire her so much more when I met her up close. I so love people who are still so humble and approachable despite the success!”
Both also happened to be “green-blooded” as Delavin takes up accountancy from the De La Salle University while Mendoza graduated with a degree in culinary arts from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, hence Delavin’s hashtag “#AN1MO!”
Maymay Entrata and Kisses Delavin are both former housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7. They are among Kapamilya network’s most famous teen stars. Just recently, they both attended their first ever Star Magic Ball and both won the Cornetto Tip-to-Top (Best Dressed) award.
Meanwhile, Maine Mendoza is busy hosting “Eat Bulaga” along with her love team partner, Pambansang Bae Alden Richards. JB
