It was a reunion of sorts for actor Baron Geisler and his “Anak” movie co-star, actress Claudine Barretto, as the two came across each other in a dressing room and had fun taking selfies.
In a series of Facebook posts, the actor uploaded the photos with his “Ate Clauds.”
His post was captioned, “With Ate Clauds! Miss you!!”
The award-winning actors starred in the 2000 classic “Anak”, where Barretto played the role of Carla, the rebellious daughter of Josie, played by movie queen Vilma Santos. Meanwhile, Geisler gave life to the character of Michael, the shy type achiever and also a son of Santos’ character.
The movie is so iconic that their characters are all still known today. In one comment on the post, a netizen said, “my favorite! Carla & Michael!”
Recently, Geisler announced that the Professional Artist Managers Inc. has already lifted its indefinite ban on him to do TV and film projects. He thanked Film Development Council of the Philippines chair Liza Diño for intervening, which aided in the lifting of the ban.
Meanwhile, Barretto is set to attend the upcoming Star Magic Ball 2017 on Sept. 30. Based on her recent social media posts, she has started her preparations for the ball. JB
