Kaya Scodelario, Josh Hutcherson to lead revamped ‘Romeo and Juliet’

There’s nothing quite like love in the time of capitalism.

The latest movie inspired by William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” is in the works, this time in the setting of corporate espionage.

Titled “Die in a Gunfight,” Kaya Scodelario and Josh Hutcherson will play doomed lovers Mary and Ben.

Helen Hunt (“Castaway”) and Olivia Munn (“X-Men: Apocalypse) will also star in the film, which will be directed by Collin Schiffli.

FEATURED STORIES

Producers promise “exhilarating action” and describe the movie as “true love conquers all…but if it can’t, it’ll at least ensure you go out swinging, in spectacular fashion.”

Both Scodelario and Hutcherson have had their share of action movies, with the former in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” and the “Maze Runner” series, and the latter starring in “The Hunger Games” trilogy.
