Modern Family” actress Sofía Vergara went with her son, Manolo, to the Primetime Emmy Awards earlier this week. So where, exactly, was her hubby, actor Joe Manganiello?
“Always glad to be her Plan B when Joe is making movies,” Manolo, 26, said on Instagram. Career-wise, he’s also following in Sofía’s footsteps—she started years ago with a modeling career. The younger Vergara debuted as a model in the pages of Paper magazine, just last December.
In 2014, Manolo and Sofía appeared with other relatives in a shampoo commercial.
Young Fil-Am finishes second in ‘America’s Got Talent’
Angelica Hale, a 10-year-old Filipino-American singer from Atlanta, Georgia, finished second in the recently concluded 12th season of the reality talent search “America’s Got Talent.”
In the finale, the young hopeful wowed judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Melanie B and Howie Mandel with her rendition of Clean Bandit’s “Symphony,” which had Angelica effortlessly hitting high notes. “This is the moment your career started,” Simon said. “You have my absolute respect.”
Heidi, on the other hand, gushed about Angelica being “the best singer in the competition.” “You’re only four feet tall, but you’re a giant!”
Earlier in the competition Angelica—who survived sepsis and double pneumonia in 2012 and was required to undergo a kidney transplant in 2013—received the coveted “golden buzzer,” which sent her straight to the live rounds.
