Actress Neri Naig is a happy wife to Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda and a doting mom to their cute little boy, Miguel.

Her showbiz career had to be put on hold since she got married, but she continuously inspires wives and mothers on how to be wise at home and in business.

Celebrities usually venture into extravagant businesses like restaurants, clubs and villas, or open up their own companies. But Naig chose to steer away from the stereotypical business ventures of the stars. One of her recent ventures is a bakeshop.

Naig recently posted a photo of her soon-to-open “Neri’s Bakeshop”. In her post, she credited her husband for gifting her a “bakery equipment package.”

(I really appreciate the support of my husband when it comes to my hobbies and businesses, but of course he’s always there to give advice and at times contradict my decisions.)

She even thought of one promo to do on her opening day “Buy 1 take 1 sa opening day. Ano, game ka?” (Buy 1 take 1, are you game?)

Aside from her soon-to-open bread shop, Naig also sells “Neri’s Gourmet Tuyo” which she opened up for franchise.

A very busy wife, mom and businesswoman indeed, Naig also has a thrift shop she calls, “Neri’s Ukayan” as she abides by the saying, “mura lang ang pumorma” (being fashionable can cost less).

Neri Naig shot to fame when she joined the Kapamilya star search “Star Circle Quest”. She has appeared in shows such as “SCQ Reload: Ok Ako”, “Nasaan Ka Man”, “Ang Panday”, “Sana Maulit Muli”, “Ysabella” and “Imortal”.

She married Chito Miranda in a garden wedding ceremony in Tagaytay City in 2014. JB
