Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona via Magalona’s Instagram
Singer-actor Elmo Magalona just asked Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador to be his date for this year’s much-awaited Star Magic Ball.
In a recent Instagram post by ABS-CBN’s talent arm Star Magic, the singer was shown holding a paper with a written message on it, while he was asking Salvador to be with him at the ball.
Written on the paper was a poem he composed for the young star. The poem concluded with the line, “To waste this opportunity would be a pity. Princess, will you go to the ball with me?”
Magalona and Salvador have long been rumored to be dating. However, in recent interviews, the “Mahal Kita Pero” singer denied such speculations.
The annual Star Magic Ball is a night of glamor, fashion, beauty and celebration of the continuously growing Kapamilya family. Last year, Darna starrer Liza Soberano gained widespread praises for her ethereal look at the ball. She won the best-dressed award, and her look that featured a stunning Michael Cinco gown made rounds online.
Star Magic Ball 2017 is set to happen this October. JB
