How does Kit Harington keep his luscious locks swept into a perfect mane?
“I just get out of the shower and let it dry,” shared the “Game of Thrones” star with The Cut.
In an interview with the media outlet, the British actor discussed his famous hair.
Fans of his look, which allows him to easily fit in the medieval drama, should enjoy it while it lasts. “You know, I cannot wait to chop it off and then I’ll stop being asked about it,” he said.
Another pet peeve? The word “man-bun.”
“I resent the term ‘man-bun,’” he shared. “I’ll give you my theory on man-buns. I resent that a man-bun has to be a fashion statement. No one ever says about a girl who’s got a ponytail it has to be a fashion statement; it’s just a way to get it out of your face.”
For him, a bun is just a way to get on with his daily life: “As long as I have long hair, I’m going to put it in a bun. Because it’s annoying getting in your face all the time. I promise you I don’t put my hair up in a bun as a fashion statement.”
Harington also shared in the report that another fantasy world he would like to join is that of Harry Potter, and it appears it’s one that he’s been eyeing for some time.
He also wants to star in a “Fantastic Beasts” film, whatever the character, on one condition: “I don’t know if I would want to be a goodie or baddie, I just know I want to hold a wand. I know exactly how I’d hold a wand — you know how Ralph Fiennes does it, with his hand up, that’s what I’d do.”
As for his house, the actor considers himself a “Gryffindor, obviously. No one wants to be Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw is boring, Slytherin is full of psychos, as people know.” Niña V. Guno/JB
