Cine Europa screens ‘Jules and Jim’, ‘Babette’s Feast’, ‘Run Lola Run’ for 20th year

Cine Europa fever is back as the famed festival officially opens in Manila starting September 16, running until the 26th, at the Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City.

Now in its 20th year, Cine Europa is bound to offer a perfect fusion of the best of classical and contemporary films from the European Union.

The film festival this year brings to the Philippines 24 cinematic works, spanning the genres of drama, thriller and comedy from 16 E.U. countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Sweden and United Kingdom.

FEATURED STORIES

After its kick off in Manila, the festival is set to travel for four months to eight other cities and municipalities, still showcasing its European lineup while adding equally outstanding films from the Philippines.
