WATCH: YouTube vlogger Wil Dasovich shares details on cancer diagnosis
YouTuber Wil Dasovich’s latest video was about discovering the type of cancer he has.
The vlog shows him at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) going through standard procedures such as a pet scan, a CT scan and an MRI.
“I thought they might be able to tell me today what stage it is but it’s a really long process. It’s somewhere in my colon area and that’s just about all the information I have at this point,” he said.
He has yet to find out what stage the cancer is in, though the fitness buff has notably lost weight.

Dasovich also opened up on why he was still vlogging: “No matter how terrifying and frightened I am, this whole experience is something I still have the courage to document because I really believe this is something that I can get through.”
“And if I do get through this and document it, I think I can be a very big inspiration to other people who were going through cancer currently… to show you that you could overcome anything with a positive attitude,” he said.
In a previous video, he shared that after months of being in and out of the hospital suffering from internal bleeding, he was diagnosed with cancer.
Dasovich turned 26 in August 26. He has received an outpouring of support from fans, fellow vloggers and celebrity friends.
After expressing his dream of having a million Youtube subscribers, the #1MforWil hashtag was born and has been promoted by Solenn Heusaff and husband Nico Bolzico. JB
