During a trip to the United States, Lotlot de Leon reunited with her biological mother Eva Rodriguez.
Lotlot is the adopted child of showbiz veterans Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon.
The 46-year-old actress was with children Janine and Diego Gutierrez in California, where Janine was recording the theme song of her TV show “Sunshine In,” reports the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
While in the U.S., Lotlot texted her mom if they could meet while they were in the West Coast. Mom Eva agreed and drove out to meet them in Venice Beach since Janine, who stars in “Legally Blind,” still had a shoot.

It was a memorable reunion for the four family members, which lasted three hours.
Lotlot shared that her mom was teary-eyed during their meeting.
On Instagram, the “That’s Entertainment” actress captured their reunion with a Mitch Albom quote: “But behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begin.”
“Thank you, Mama Eva,” she wrote.
The year 1991 was when she first met her mother in San Diego; she brought Janine who was only 2 years old then.
According to her, she was given away by Eva’s mother without her knowledge. Eva then went to the U.S. in 1972.
Eva now works in the government and is in a second marriage with an American; her first husband is also an American with whom she has a child.
In 2012, Lotlot met her biological father, American navy man Donald Olson, in Chicago. Her children met him a year later. /ra
