Anna Faris hints at reasons behind split with Chris Pratt

Devoted fans continue to mourn the failed marriage of Hollywood darlings Chris Pratt and Anna Faris.

Although both parties have remained relatively quiet since their shocking announcement, the 40-year-old actress might have inadvertently spilled the beans on what caused the sudden separation.
Speaking on her weekly podcast “Unqualified,” Faris offered a heartfelt relationship advice to a caller about the importance of knowing a person’s “worth” and having “independence” while in a committed relationship.
“Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn’t fully right or somebody doesn’t have your back, or somebody doesn’t fully value you,” she said, as relayed by Yahoo News.
“Don’t be afraid to feel your independence if things aren’t right,” she added.
Although Faris did not directly indicate Pratt in her statements—as she was previously married to another man before—her comments seemed to pertain to her most recent one.
“I made that mistake, I think, a little bit, like ‘I’m checking my relationship off the list’ and if that would be the final piece of advice I could give you, that would be know your worth, know your independence,” she said.
The couple, who first met during a table read for the movie “Take Me Home Tonight,” had been together for eight years. They have a son, Jack, who turns 5 next week. Khristian Ibarrola /ra
