Kapamilya actors JC De Vera and Daniel Padilla almost hit each other during Star Magic’s All-Star Game last Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum. De Vera soon apologized.

In a recent video post by celebrity blog Fashionpulis on Facebook, the two were seen getting physical in the game, as Padilla tried to steal the ball from De Vera. Next, contact between Padilla and De Vera seem to have caused Padilla’s fall. De Vera was called for the foul. Padilla got up, reacted to De Vera, then walked out.

The commotion stirred wild reactions from the crowd and the incident caused the game to pause for a few seconds.

Both parties were then immediately pacified by surrounding people and the game soon after continued.

In a Twitter post on August 13 by ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe, he reported that “Tension was felt when JC De Vera fouled Daniel Padilla, middle of 3Q.”  He also reported that Gerald Anderson “had to calm Karla Estrada, shouting & pointing at JC.”

Not long after, De Vera issued an apology to Padilla via Twitter.
