Bruno Mars set to return to Manila next year

American pop star Bruno Mars will hold a one-night concert on May 3, 2018 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, according to a recent announcement by local promoter MMI Live. Tickets will go on sale on Sept. 7 (call 4702222).

The coming visit—Bruno’s third in the Philippines—is part of his ongoing “24K Magic” world tour, which was launched last March in support of his best-selling third studio album of the same title.

The 31-year-old recording artist, whose latest hits include “That’s What I Like” and “Versace on the Floor,” last performed in the country in 2014 for his “Moonshine Jungle” tour.

Mars’ other charttoppers include “Just the Way You Are,” “Uptown Funk,” “The Lazy Song” and “Billionaire.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
