Songstress Zsa Zsa Padilla took the time to remember her late partner, Comedy King Dolphy, on his 89th birthday on Tuesday.
In an Instagram post, the singer-actress thanked him for the memorable times they had together.
“You had the most contagious smile. You brought so much laughter to my life. Thanks for the memories. Happy 89th,” she said.
Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon passed away on July 10, 2012, after a five-year battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Throughout his six-decade career, he was able to conquer the stage, television and filmdom, and became the local benchmark in comedic wit, delivery and acting.
Apart from his legendary career, Dolphy was also known for his colorful love life. He had 18 children with six women. Before Padilla, he had a relationship with former sexy actress Alma Moreno, who became the mother of one of his sons, former child star Vandolph Quizon.
Padilla is currently in a relationship with architect Conrad Onglao. /ra
