A line from Linkin Park’s song “Until It’s Gone” goes: “Oh you don’t know what you’ve got, no you don’t know what you’ve got, until it’s gone.”

Such might be the case for millions of the band’s heartbroken fans around the world, as Linkin Park’s music sales skyrocketed shortly after vocalist Chester Bennington’s death last Friday.

Billboard reported that a combined 111,000 copies of the band’s albums and singles were sold on the day of Bennington’s apparent suicide—notching a whopping 5,332-percent increase in demonstrated interest.

Linkin Park’s latest studio album “One More Light” sold over 6,000 copies internationally in one day, while classic singles like “In the End” and “Numb” accumulated 11,000 and 10,000 downloads, respectively.

Due to the sudden and unexpected surge in download popularity, three albums of Linkin Park’s are expected to chart on the music countdown “Billboard 200” this week.
