Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo proves yet again that she is one pop royalty when after accidentally slipping at a performance, she rose back and went on to slay the game.
Geronimo gave a powerhouse birthday number on ASAP’s July 23 episode. Dressed in full swag, she sang and danced “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston, “The Way I Are” by Bebe Rexha, “Wild Thoughts” by DJ Khaled and “Power” by Little Mix.
She was killing a sexy shoulder shake when she got off her balance and slipped off to her back. But she proved to be an ace performer by showing what “the show must go on” truly means. Trying to catch her grip, she eventually submitted to the floor and rose back up as if nothing happened.

Despite her slip, Geronimo finished her seven-minute dance production, earning a deafening audience applause.

Sarah Geronimo turns 29 on July 25. Her birthday production on ASAP was an advanced treat from the pop princess to her fans.
Recently, she reunited with box-office king John Lloyd Cruz to top-bill this year’s biggest romantic-comedy movie, “Finally Found Someone.” Co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films, the movie is set to hit theaters on July 26. /ra
