Year in and out, the luckiest fans in the world are able to meet their favorite superheroes in the flesh during Comic Conventions.
One moving encounter during the San Diego Comic Con was between “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot and a young fan.
Gadot was in the panel for the upcoming “Justice League” movie.
Variety was able to capture the moment on video when a girl in a Wonder Woman shirt with a cape and tiara approached Gadot and became emotional.
“Oh, don’t cry,” says Gadot as she held the girl’s hand. “We’re here together.”
She takes the time to comfort her, and at the end, says, “Where’s the smile?”
Ezra Miller who plays the Flash in the new “Justice League” movie is seated beside Gadot and tells the fan: “That’s a warrior.”
“That’s a sweet kid,” says Ben Affleck, who is two seats away from Gadot.
Fans taking a photo with Affleck, the latest Batman in the DC movies, are also seen wiping tears after meeting him.
“Doctor Strange” writer Scott Derickson shared a photo of the moment with the caption, “These movies matter.”
