Maricar de Mesa gave birth to a baby girl via Cesarean section on Tuesday.
Among the first people to get a glimpse of the 37-year-old actress’ firstborn, Sky, was Almira Muhlach, who gushed over the news on Instagram. “Hello, baby Sky! Ninang Miray is so happy to meet you,” she captioned her snap.
Last May, De Mesa amused fans when she posted photos flaunting her baby bump on the photo-sharing platform. Despite previous hints on De Mesa’s Instagram snaps, the identity of the child’s father, who is based in the US, still remains a mystery.
De Mesa was previously married to PBA player Don Allado. After a seven-year marriage, the pair filed for an annulment in 2014 and the case has yet to reach a verdict. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
