‘The Incredibles 2’ all set for release in 2018

Disney finally revealed a release date for the anticipated sequel of Pixar’s “The Incredibles” at the recently concluded D23: The Official Disney Fan Club (D23) Expo held in Anaheim, California.

The date to look forward to is June 15, 2018 and the movie will be available in 3D. The announcement was also posted on the Walt Disney Studios Twitter account.

Disney teased some details about the movie, such as the family’s new home being “a cross between a dream house and a super lair,” according to a Disney Pixar tweet.

Fashion designer Edna Mode will also be appearing in the sequel. Watch Disney’s tribute video to Edna below.

“The Incredibles” was released in 2004 and made by the Disney subsidiary Pixar Animation Studios. It’s a computer generated movie featuring a super hero family struggling to lead a normal life. It has been 13 years since then, and fans (including this writer) are thrilled that a sequel is finally happening. JB
