Why ‘Paparazzi’ show shelved Mo interview

I have been deluged with questions about why we didn’t air DJ Mo’s interview on “Paparazzi” last Sunday. Nor did we comment on the raging issue of his controversial “tell-all” YouTube video.

TV5 deemed it best to respect Mo’s privacy as he sorts out some personal matters. Since he has decided to quit show biz, he ought to be spared from further public scrutiny, which is the last thing he needs right now.

Last Sunday, before we went on the air, Mo sent me and some other friends this text message: “I set up my new cell phone number in New York. It’s (confidential) and a new BBM (confidential). My BBM is operational, the cell number in a few days when I get to NY.”

A mutual friend told me that Mo intends to go on hiatus for a year and just go “people watching” in NYC. Hopefully, he finds a new apple of his eye in the Big Apple.

Marx in Manila

Don’t miss a rare musical experience with one of the biggest names in adult contemporary and pop/rock music, “Richard Marx Live in Manila,” on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum (presented by Ovation Productions and Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa in Bohol). Marx gained international recognition for his hits in the ’80s and ’90s, such as “Hold On To the Night,” “This I Promise You,” “Only Reminds Me of You” and many more. For tickets, call  911-5555. Marx the date!
