LOOK: Drivers of Grab, Uber give celebrities a ride and in return get selfies
Internet-based transport applications are now a convenient traffic solution for people who seek comfortable rides. As more and more people use them, some drivers get the chance of giving celebrities a ride.
If anything, since the rise of these apps, transportation has been easier not only for ordinary people but also for celebrities, which most likely explains why they are typically eager to grant their helpful drivers the selfies they request.
Some drivers posted about their recent experiences of having celebrity passengers, via the official Facebook pages of these apps.
Kapamilya teen star Sue Ramirez had commenters sharing jokes.
Same with Star Struck alumna Ritz Asuncion, who may have used the app due to coding restrictions, a funny commenter speculated.
Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Will Devaughn had a commenter joking he’s actually the veteran actor Bembol Roco.
Kapuso teen star Addy Raj also had his driver giving the thumbs up.
Former teen star Antoinette Taus is all smiles with her driver in what looks like an evening ride.
Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Tanner Mata gave some cheer to his driver in another ride at night.
Comedianne Tuesday Vargas may have met her match in the humorous posts of the commenters here.
Ex-Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate Ivan Dorschner sat side by side with his driver, and some commenters could not help but poke fun and debate about who’s more handsome.
Earlier this year, a transport app driver also posted a photo of himself with Bb. Pilipinas Universe Maxine Medina, which also became viral as he gave the country’s representative to the pageant a good ride before she battled for the crown. JB
