Pinays in US hip-hop tilt

Sisters Cheska and Alee Young and Shayna Young-Rivera will compete again in the World Hip-Hop International Contest 2017 (WHHI) in Phoenix, Arizona, from Aug. 6 to 12.

They will be part of a contingent of 85 Filipino dancers, aged 17 to 25.

They have rented two houses in Phoenix.

The sisters’ father, Wally T. Young, hopes that Filipinos in the area can cheer on the three Philippine teams.

He is also launching a fund-raising project to help cover the members’ food and bottled water expenses.
