Just hours before her first gig in four years, Pink got to experience what it is like to “live in a box.”
The pop star was about to perform at the Summerfest event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, when she and her 6-year-old daughter, Willow, were trapped in an elevator.
“Stuck in an elevator (it’s getting hot in here) (love in an elevator) (livin in a box) #help,” Pink, who showed composure during the incident, captioned her hilarious Instagram post on Monday.
Luckily, Pink was rescued and she made it to her show on time. “We made it out,” she posted.
Despite the glitch, Pink expressed her joy in performing in front of her fans after a hiatus.
“After four years, it’s always a little nerve wracking to start it up again. But I got one look at your faces and my heart filled with love,” she thanked her fans in her recent post.
Known for her signature neon-dyed hairstyle, Pink, 37, spearheaded pop tracks such as “Fuckin’ Perfect,” “Just Give Me a Reason”, and “Get the Party Started.” She is married to longtime racer Carey Hart and recently gave birth to a son. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
