Britney Spears has some strident words for those who accuse her of lip-syncing in her gigs.
“It’s really funny: A lot of people think I don’t sing live because I’m dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback,” she told a local Israeli TV station.
“It really pisses me off because I’m busting my a** out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever gives me credit for it,” she added.
Spears is scheduled to enthuse her fans in Israel this July 3, a day before the country holds its elections.

Earlier this month, Spears, 35, was accused of lip-syncing the first of her two gigs in Tokyo, Japan. During her “I’m a Slave 4 U” number, Spears’ mic got coiled with her hair for seconds. Even though she paused to fix the glitch, her voice remained audible.
She kicked off her musical crusade in the ’90s with the pop anthems, “Oops! I Did It Again,” “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” “Toxic” and “Piece of Me.”
Spears continues to carry on her pop reign with last year’s release of her ninth studio album “Glory.” Gianna Francesca Catolico
