Vice Ganda expressed dismay over the ever-worsening Metro Manila traffic, which makes him wonder where his million-peso taxes go.
In a series of recent Twitter posts, Vice Ganda expressed his disgust over traffic. The 41-year-old TV host said he knows the problem about traffic has always existed, but he still could not help but cuss about it, especially when he pays millions worth of taxes.
In another tweet, he said he has to close his eyes whenever he pays his millions-worth of taxes, and that it leaves him heavy-hearted having to still be stuck in traffic, despite. He said he can’t help but wonder where his taxes go.
Being a sought-after comedian, he has always said that it is his obligation to make people laugh. But in this tweet, he asked how he could fulfill his duties given the traffic situation, and how it seems hopeless despite one’s adjustments.
If his taxes could not help ease the traffic situation, he at least hopes that it would be useful to people through other services.
Taking it from this tweet, it looked like he did not make it to his destination, and his entire journey just turned out to be a “field trip ” along EDSA.
In the end, he said that if he gets really rich, he will just ride an airplane everyday. He’ll then be beyond the clutches of traffic.
Vice Ganda is known for his straightforward personality and humor laced with sarcasm. Because of his hard-hitting words, he sometimes gets bashed on social media. Nonetheless, he still remains to be a major influencer to today’s youth.
He currently appears as the main host of ABS-CBN’s variety show “It’s Showtime”, while his hit Sunday comedy talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” just celebrated its sixth anniversary. JB
