Pokwang is more than thrilled to welcome her “baby O’Brian.”
Pregnant at 44, the comedienne—whose real name is Marietta Subong—has posted on Instagram a photo of her, together with her boyfriend, American actor Lee O’Brian, and her doctor, showing her baby’s sonogram.
“Thank you sa lahat ng mga dasal nyo para matupad ito, at sa patuloy niyo pang dasal para ligtas si baby O’Brian at tuluyan na sya mangulit sa February dito sa Earth (Thank you to everyone who prayed for this to happen and for your continued prayers for the safety of baby O’Brian so that he will arrive on Earth this February),” Pokwang captioned her photo.
She also cracked a joke about forbidding comedian Chokoleit from entering her home. “At dahil buntis ako, bawal ka muna sa bahay (And because I’m pregnant, you’re not allowed inside the house), Chokoleit,” she said.
Last week, Pokwang’s manager Ogie Diaz broke the news of her pregnancy via Facebook, which was later confirmed by Pokwang herself.
This marks Pokwang’s second pregnancy with O’Brien following a miscarriage in 2015. She has a 21-year-old daughter with a Japanese ex-boyfriend and previously lost a son to brain cancer. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
