Lady Gaga

The Chainsmokers caught the ire of Lady Gaga’s little monsters last year, when one of the EDM duo’s members, Alex Pall, reportedly said that the pop star’s then-new single, “Perfect Illusion,” “sucks.” Lady Gaga tweeted the tandem a link of another song, saying: “Hope you like this one better.”

In an interview with “The Howard Stern Show,” Alex said he had already “reached out” to Lady Gaga and that what he said was just “taken out of context. We were talking about how much we respect her as an artist, but that I was just not a fan of her new song.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
