Lazy dad irks money-grubbing mom

12:15 AM June 18, 2017

Here’s one family that isn’t celebrating Father’s Day this year.

Drumbeaters have packaged Showbiz Couple as a match made in heaven. At first blush, they do look like saccharine sweethearts who are raising the perfect family.

In reality, Materialistic Mom is getting impatient with Indolent Dad. MM is exasperated because ID is not contributing anything to the clan’s coffers.

To her credit, MM works like a maniac—to ensure a bright future for the fam.

FEATURED STORIES

MM has obviously complained to Meddlesome Insider. MI tried to save the deteriorating situation by securing a project that kept ID busy and MM distracted. MM’s outbursts were silenced—at least, for now.

But when the bills start coming again—well, that’s another story.

Holier than thou

Alas, SS’ closet is overstuffed with all sorts of skeletons. SS turned out to be a cheater!

A mole spotted SS vacationing with a lover in a top shopping destination abroad. To think, SS’ real partner was slaving away back home.

Uh-oh.

Spoilsport

Beleaguered Personality simply cannot be trusted to play fairly. BP clashed big time with Fearless Pal over work-related matters.

BP hit rock bottom, as a result of the fiasco. FP, however, came out smelling like a rose.

Seemed BP couldn’t get over the fact that FP had managed to turn things around. BP’s petty, vindictive nature soon reared its ugly head. Using anonymity as a shield, BP got even by disparaging FP in cyberspace.

Trivial pursuit, anyone?

Bad rep

Do nice guys still finish first in this biz?

Once again, a Dubious Character has achieved success by acting as the lapdog of the powers that be. To think, DC is notorious for having a checkered past—engaging in toe-curling activities with poor underlings.

Worse, DC borrowed a valuable item from Respected Veteran. Unfortunately, DC never bothered to return the memento to RV. Perhaps DC has a bad case of amnesia?

Hunk’s secrets

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Has-been Hunk claims that he has never fallen victim to the casting couch.

HH insists that he has never had a same-sex affair. Well, HH had been involved with much older women, but seldom with wealthy queer benefactors.

A spy, however, counters that HH, out of sheer desperation, had to hook up with not just one, but three(!) rich gays.

HH was forced into those close encounters of the third kind, in order to jump-start a stalled career.
