Traveling like a “crazy rich Asian,” Kris Aquino has arrived in Singapore for the shooting of her debut Hollywood film.
On Instagram on Tuesday, Aquino posted a photo of her checking in for her flight to the city-state to tape her scenes for the movie she declined to name.
“Flying to fulfill a dream. Shooting this week in Singapore,” Aquino said. She brought along several gowns “befitting a princess,” which were designed by Michael Leyva and Michael Cinco.
Back in April, die-hard fans speculated that Aquino, 46, was cast for the movie adaptation of “Crazy Rich Asians” after author Kevin Kwan followed her on the photo-sharing app. In preparation for her stint, Aquino inked a contract with Los Angeles-based talent agency East West Artists.
Because of her recent Instagram post, chitchats about her supposed role in the Jon M.Chu-directed film has escalated.
