WATCH: Spider-Man army troops to ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ promo in Singapore

You know how dedicated a fanbase is when a big group of them shows up at an official promo event dressed up as their favorite superhero.

Such was the case with the promotional gig for the upcoming movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. A large group of Spider-Man fans attended and dressed up as the friendly neighborhood webslinger, occupying the entire venue.

While most wore the standard costume, there were also those who donned costumes with variations based on the different comics published over the years. There were also female fans dressed up as Spider-Gwen, a version of Gwen Stacy from a parallel universe who took up the superhero role instead of Peter Parker.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is a reboot of the Spider-man movie franchise and is more tied in with the current series of Marvel superhero movies. The movie follows Peter Parker several months after the events of “Captain America: Civil War”. With help from Tony Stark, he tries to balance an ordinary high school life with that of his crime-fighting, web-swinging superhero alter ego when a new threat emerges to disrupt everything.

The movie is scheduled to premiere in the United States on June 28. A sequel has already been planned for a July 2019 release. JB
