WATCH: Jerry Seinfeld snubs Kesha’s request for a hug

Kesha has just learned that Jerry Seinfeld is one person who snubs hugs from people he doesn’t know.

The comedian was being interviewed by radio host Tommy McFly on the red carpet of National Night of Laughter and Song event in Washington, DC, when the “TiK ToK” songstress interrupted him. A fan of Seinfeld, she later asked him for an embrace.

“I love you so much. Can I give you a hug?” she asked.

“No thanks,” Seinfeld said. Determined to get her wish, Kesha, 30, tried to ask him again, but Seinfeld gave her a cold shoulder.

When Kesha walked away,  Seinfeld admitted that he did not recognize her: “I don’t know who that was.” McFly told him that she was Kesha, to which Seinfeld replied, “Well, I wish her the best.”

Seinfeld, 63, was popular for playing a fictional version of himself on “Seinfeld,” which aired for nine years until 1998. Meanwhile, Kesha’s career was nearly in limbo following a legal feud with her producer, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, whom she had accused of drugging and raping her.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
