Eminem, Timberlake help raise £2M for Manchester attack victims

Both Eminem and Justin Timberlake are amazing musical talents in their own right, and they also recently showed their humanitarian side.

In the wake of the devastating Manchester terror attacks last week, both artists took advantage of their massive social media following to help raise money for the victims’ bereaved families.

The “Rap God” singer, as per UNILAD, requested aid from his Twitter followers—a plea which turned out to be quite effective as the charitable efforts have almost reached the target of £2 million (P127.6 million).

“Join me in helping Manchester victims & their families, Make a donation to the @BritishRedCross and @MENnewsdesk,” he said in his tweet, which has since been retweeted over 8,000 times.

Timberlake, on the other hand, followed suit and posted an online appeal as well.

Eminem is known for his inactivity on social media, but was deeply affected by the deaths of 22 concert goers, most of whom were teenagers, the report said.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
