To satisfy the decade-long clamor of fans, Ashley Tisdale reunited with her “High School Musical” co-star Lucas Grabeel for a stellar rendition of their famous song.

On Tuesday, Tisdale featured Grabeel in her newest “Music Sessions” YouTube blog, as they belted out a laid-back duet of “What I’ve Been Looking For”, one of the trademark hits they performed for the Disney TV musical. Tisdale played Sharpay Evans while Grabeel shone as her sidekick and twin brother, Ryan.

“It’s been ten years since we sang this song so it was really crazy [like] just thinking what would be the best song to sing with you and this instantly came to mind,” Grabeel recalled. “I started learning it on the piano and I was instantly taken aback.”

On the other hand, Tisdale, 31, admitted that even though she never became close pals with Grabeel off-camera, she was awestruck with his singing talent.

“We were not close. We were not big friends. We hated each other…[but] after we wrapped, I always had a love for you,” Tisdale confessed to her followers.

She later lauded the 32-year-old actor-singer, “[With] his voice, he can hit any note. He’s just the best singer out of all of us… It’s insane how good of a singer [he] is.”

After their duet exploded on social media, Tisdale thanked her devoted fans through a note posted on Twitter.

Since opening her blog on the video-sharing platform, Tisdale mesmerized netizens and “High School Musical” fans alike with her gentle voice. In January, she invited another “High School Musical” co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, and they sang a duet of Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s”. Gianna Francesca Catolico/JB
