A new, full trailer has been released for the film “Kita Kita (I See You)”, the story of a man (Empoy Marquez) in love with a blind woman (Alessandra de Rossi).
Set in Japan, the clip reveals that Alessandra de Rossi’s condition is temporary. But blind or not, the chemistry is palpable between the two.
“Pogi pogi mo (You’re so handsome),” says Alessandra while feeling Empoy’s face.
“Bulag ka nga (You really are blind),” he replies.

Earlier this year, a snippet of the film was released showing the unlikely couple in a funny and flirty exchange over hot bowls of ramen. The will-they, won’t-they story attracted viewers online:
Spring Films, Piolo Pascual’s independent production company, produced the movie. It is the same company behind the “Kimmy Dora” series. The film is directed by Sigrid Bernardo, with projects “Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita” and “Lorna” under her belt.
“Kita Kita” will open in theaters nationwide on July 19. JB
