“The Flash” actor Keiynan Lonsdale stood up for his sexuality and professed a message of self-love in a social media post.
Lonsdale, who plays Wally West or “Kid Flash” in the superhero series said that he no longer wanted to apologize for “falling in love with people no matter their gender.”
He confessed to “hating” himself for years, “thinking I was less valuable because I was different.” “I like girls and I like guys,” he declared.
After “being insecure, ashamed, and scared,” the 25-year-old movie and TV star now wants to “take the next step and actually embrace who I am.”
He said he found inspiration in “young people being their best and truest selves,” and wished that “we can all learn to embrace who we are and not judge people who aren’t exactly the same as us.”
