Kim Atienza’s lucky rendezvous with “Goblin” star Gong Yoo made K-drama fans “green with envy.”

The “Matanglawin” host posted a selfie with the Korean actor on social media after his meet and greet with fans in Hong Kong on Friday. “Eto na! Walang Photoshop, walang edit (Here you go, no Photoshop and no edit) Me and my kalokalike,” he captioned his picture.

Also in the said event was Anne Curtis, who was subtly in tears for losing a chance to score a face-to-face encounter with Yoo.

“When your smile is so big because you just saw your ultimate oppa (brother) in the flesh. Still wishing for a selfie or handshake one day,” Curtis craved while sharing Atienza’s souvenir to her on Instagram. “Hindi man ako nakapag-selfie (I didn’t have a selfie) or interview like Kuya Kim…He got me this naman as a souvenir.”

Suffused with envy, many K-drama fanatics taunted Atienza as Yoo’s Filipino look-alike. “Mga kababayan alam nyo bang ang ‘Goblin’ ay hango sa salitang kuyasus kimus (Fellow countrymen, do you know that ‘Goblin’ originated from the word kuyasus kimus)?” one Facebook user joked in jest using Atienza’s popular tagline.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
