Phoenix shares first track of upcoming album

After French band Phoenix announced this week that it has a sixth album on the way, the group has shared the first single, “J-Boy”.

The LP, “Ti Amo”, will be out on June 9 and will come four years after “Bankrupt!”, the group’s most recent album.

After being featured as Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats 1 Radio on Thursday, the track was released for streaming and download.

Accompanying the album news, the band has also announced new upcoming tour dates in Germany and Luxembourg. The foursome is now set to begin a touring on May 12 in Miami, finishing up in Los Angeles on June 15, before embarking on a series of European festival dates from June 29 to September 2.

They’ll then move on to Germany and Luxembourg and wrap up with shows in Paris and London in September 29 and 30. JB
